Fine wine from Piemonte Italy
The northern Italian area of Piedmont, often known as Piemonte, is renowned for its high quality winemaking. Barolo, a red wine produced from the Nebbiolo grape, and Moscato d'Asti, a sweet sparkling wine, are among the region's most famous wines. Other wines, such as the red Barbera d'Alba, white Arneis, and sweet Brachetto d'Acqui, are also produced there.
