BOND is an exclusive wine project from Napa Valley founded by renowned vintner Bill Harlan, also known for the iconic Harlan Estate. The concept behind BOND is inspired by the idea of Napa Valley “Grand Cru” vineyards, where each wine represents a single, exceptional vineyard site with its own distinctive terroir.
The vineyards are located on some of the most prestigious hillside sites in Napa Valley, including Melbury, Vecina, St. Eden, Quella and Pluribus. These high-elevation vineyards with rocky soils produce primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with remarkable concentration and structure. The wines often show aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and plum, alongside notes of graphite, dark chocolate and subtle floral spices.
Each BOND wine is vinified separately to preserve the character of its specific vineyard. Meticulous vineyard management, careful selection and ageing in fine French oak barrels result in wines of depth, elegance and extraordinary ageing potential. BOND is widely regarded as one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious Cabernet Sauvignon projects.
