Chateau de Beaucastel

Château de Beaucastel is one of the reference points of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and a flagship of the Perrin family. Unlike many estates in the appellation, Beaucastel has long given Mourvèdre a major role, and that choice shapes the wine’s savoury depth, dark fruit, spice and gamey complexity. The classic red combines power with freshness and structure, while special bottlings such as Hommage à Jacques Perrin push the estate into truly elite territory. The old-vine Roussanne Vieilles Vignes is also one of the Rhône’s great white wines.
