Domaine du Caillou is a respected family estate located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the southern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1956 by Lucien Pouizin, the domaine is now run by his granddaughter Marielle Coulon. Over the decades the estate has earned a strong reputation for producing classic Rhône wines that combine richness with balance and finesse.
The vineyards are spread across several parcels within the appellation, planted on the region’s characteristic soils of galets roulés, sand and clay. Grenache forms the backbone of the red blends, supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre.
