Domaine André Brunel is a respected family estate located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the southern Rhône Valley of France. The winery traces its origins back to the 18th century and is currently run by Fabrice Brunel, continuing the legacy established by his father André Brunel.
The vineyards are spread across several parcels within Châteauneuf-du-Pape and neighbouring Rhône appellations. Typical Rhône soils such as galets roulés, clay and sand contribute to wines with concentration and character. Grenache forms the backbone of the wines, often supported by varieties such as Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Wines from Domaine André Brunel are known for combining richness with balance. They often display aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and plum, complemented by notes of Mediterranean herbs, pepper and subtle earthy nuances.
The estate is particularly famous for its cuvée Les Cailloux, a Châteauneuf-du-Pape that reflects the character of the region’s iconic rounded stone soils.
