Tardieu-Laurent is a respected wine producer from the Rhône Valley in France, founded in 1996 by Michel Tardieu and Dominique Laurent. The house has quickly established itself as one of the most highly regarded négociant producers in the region.
Rather than owning extensive vineyards, Tardieu-Laurent works closely with selected growers in prestigious Rhône appellations such as Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Crozes-Hermitage. Through careful selection of fruit from old vines and exceptional sites, the winery produces wines with remarkable concentration and character.
The red wines, often based on Syrah or Grenache, typically display aromas of blackberries, violets, pepper and garrigue herbs. The white wines, produced from varieties such as Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier, combine richness with freshness and minerality.
Tardieu-Laurent wines are known for their traditional winemaking approach, low yields and ageing in oak barrels, resulting in expressive Rhône wines with excellent ageing potential.
