Niepoort’s Redoma Tinto 2011, from the Douro Valley, blends Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, and others from old vines on schist soils. Under Dirk Niepoort’s vision, this wine captures Cima Corgo’s elegance. The 2011 vintage, warm and dry, yielded structured grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 20 months in French oak (40% new), it shows deep ruby with black cherry, plum, and herbal aromas, plus graphite and spice. Medium-bodied, it balances firm tannins, bright acidity (5.7 g/L), and vibrant fruit with a mineral finish. Sustainable practices ensure authenticity.
