It pours a deep ruby, with aromas of black cherry, plum, and spice, plus mocha and herbs. The palate is full-bodied, with plush tannins and bright acidity, offering dark fruit and earth. Aged 18 months in French oak, it’s highly rated. Pair with grilled lamb or vegetarian lasagna. A collector’s prize.
