The Cain Five 1995 is a classic Bordeaux-style blend from Napa Valley’s Cain Vineyard & Winery, featuring Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. The 1995 vintage produced mature grapes. It pours a deep garnet, with aromas of black cherry, cassis, and leather, plus tobacco and herbs. The palate is full-bodied, with soft tannins and bright acidity, offering dark fruit and earth. Aged 18 months in French oak, it’s a collector’s favorite. Pair with roasted beef or mushroom risotto. A rare find.
