2. DATA PROCESSING – OVERVIEW
Below we describe how we process your data, where it is stored, which security measures are in place and which third parties (processors) may have access to it.
2.1 WEBSHOP SOFTWARE – LIGHTSPEED
Our webshop is built on and hosted by Lightspeed. Any personal data you submit through our site is stored in this system. Lightspeed has access to this data only to provide (technical) support and will never use it for its own purposes.
2.2 E-MAIL AND MAILING LISTS – MAILCHIMP AND/OR LAPOSTA
We send our email newsletters using Mailchimp and/or Laposta. These services only use your name and email address to send mailings on our behalf. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link that allows you to opt-out at any time.
2.3 PAYMENT PROCESSORS – PAYPAL AND MOLLIE PAYMENTS
To process payments in our webshop we use PayPal and Mollie Payments (Mollie B.V.). They process your name, address and place of residence, as well as payment details such as bank account number or credit card number.
They apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and may use anonymised data to improve their services. They do not store your data longer than permitted by law.
2.4 REVIEWS – YOTPO
We collect product reviews via Yotpo. When you leave a review, you are asked for your name, place of residence and e-mail address. Yotpo shares this data with us so we can link your review to your order.
2.5 SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS – DPD AND POSTNL
When you place an order, we use DPD and PostNL to deliver your package. For this purpose we share your name, address and sometimes your e-mail address and/or phone number (for track & trace).
2.6 EXTERNAL SALES CHANNELS – UVINUM.COM AND VIVINO
We sell part of our assortment via Uvinum.com and Vivino. If you place an order through these platforms, they share your order and personal data with us for processing and shipping.
2.7 E-MAIL – GMAIL
All our business email is handled via Gmail (Google). We use this service because of the high security and privacy standards applied by Google.
3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES
We only use your data in connection with our services. The main purposes are:
- processing and shipping your order;
- payment handling;
- customer service and communication;
- sending newsletters if you subscribed;
- improving, monitoring and securing our website.
Legal bases: performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, your explicit consent, or our legitimate interest (security/fraud prevention).

Our website automatically collects certain information, such as your IP address, browser type and operating system to operate and secure the site.
