It pours a deep ruby, with aromas of blackberry, cassis, and spice, plus mocha and violets. The palate is opulent, with plush tannins and vibrant acidity, offering dark fruit and earth. Aged 20 months in French oak, it’s highly rated. Pair with grilled steak or vegetarian lasagna. A collector’s treasure.
