It pours a deep garnet, with aromas of black cherry, cassis, and spice, plus graphite and violets. The palate is full-bodied, with silky tannins and bright acidity, offering dark fruit and mocha. Aged 20 months in French oak, it’s highly rated. Pair with roasted lamb or vegetarian lasagna. A collector’s gem.
