Chateau Guiraud

Château Guiraud is a First Growth Sauternes estate known for sweet wines of intensity and freshness. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc work together particularly well here, the former bringing waxy richness and noble rot texture, the latter adding aromatic lift and tension. The wines show apricot, marmalade, acacia honey and spice, but the best bottles are defined just as much by their citrus-cut finish. Organic farming and a focus on biodiversity have further sharpened the estate’s identity in recent years.
