Château La Nerthe is one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with a history dating back to the 16th century. The estate has long been recognized as a benchmark producer, combining tradition with a modern approach to quality and sustainability.
The vineyards are planted with a wide range of Rhône grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and several white varieties. The diverse soils—ranging from galets roulés to sandy and clay-limestone parcels—contribute to the complexity and balance of the wines.
Château La Nerthe produces both red and white wines that are known for their elegance and structure. The reds show aromas of red and dark fruit, herbs and spice, while the whites offer freshness, floral notes and a refined texture. The wines combine richness with finesse and have excellent ageing potential.
