Domaine Lécheneaut is a respected family winery based in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of Burgundy. The estate is run by brothers Philippe and Vincent Lécheneaut, who have developed the family domaine since the 1980s into a producer known for refined and terroir-driven Burgundian wines.
The vineyards are spread across several prestigious appellations of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin. The red wines are primarily made from Pinot Noir, while Chardonnay is used for the whites. Limestone soils and careful vineyard management contribute to wines with elegance, structure and clear terroir expression.
In the cellar, Domaine Lécheneaut combines traditional Burgundian winemaking with modern precision. Grapes are carefully selected and the wines are aged in French oak barrels, with moderate use of new oak to preserve the purity of the fruit. The wines typically show aromas of red berries, cherry, floral notes and subtle spice, with excellent ageing potential.
