Harlan Estate is one of the most prestigious wineries in Napa Valley, California. Founded in the 1980s by H. William Harlan, the estate was created with the vision of producing wines comparable to the great First Growths of Bordeaux.
The vineyards are located in the hills of Oakville, where elevation, volcanic soils and ideal sun exposure create exceptional conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The flagship wine is typically a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Harlan Estate wines are renowned for their depth, structure and complexity. Aromas often include cassis, blackberry and dark plum layered with notes of cedar, cocoa, graphite and subtle spice.
Through extremely low yields, meticulous vineyard management and extended ageing in French oak, Harlan Estate produces some of the most collectible and sought-after wines of Napa Valley.
