Domaine JanotsBos is a small Burgundy house created through the collaboration between the Dutch Bos family and the respected Beaune-based négociant Maison Janots. The project focuses on sourcing carefully selected grapes and parcels from some of Burgundy’s classic appellations, allowing the domaine to produce wines that reflect the elegance and complexity for which the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits are known.
The portfolio is built around Burgundy’s two defining varieties: Pinot Noir for the reds and Chardonnay for the whites. The Pinot Noir wines typically show the region’s hallmark aromas of red cherry, raspberry and subtle earthy notes, supported by fine tannins and vibrant acidity. The Chardonnay wines tend toward a precise and mineral style, with citrus, white peach and lightly toasted nuances when oak ageing is used. Across the range the emphasis remains on balance, purity and clear expression of terroir.
Although relatively modern in its formation, Domaine JanotsBos follows a traditional Burgundian philosophy: careful grape selection, restrained winemaking and respect for the character of each appellation. The result is a series of wines that capture the classic charm of Burgundy—elegant, layered and capable of developing additional complexity with time in bottle.
