Weingut Knoll is one of the most renowned wineries in the Wachau region of Austria. The family estate is located in the historic village of Unterloiben along the Danube and has built an international reputation for producing classic Wachau wines that express their terroir with precision.
The vineyards include parcels in some of the region’s most famous sites, such as Loibenberg, Schütt and Kreutles. These steep terraced vineyards with weathered gneiss and granite soils are particularly suited to the traditional Austrian varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
Weingut Knoll wines are known for their purity, minerality and excellent ageing potential. Grüner Veltliner typically shows aromas of green apple, citrus and white pepper, while Riesling displays vibrant acidity, stone fruit and pronounced mineral character.
Through meticulous vineyard work and careful winemaking, Weingut Knoll produces structured and elegant wines that represent the classic style of the Wachau.
