Palari is a boutique winery located in the northeastern part of Sicily, near the Strait of Messina. Founded by Salvatore Geraci, the estate focuses on reviving historic vineyards and traditional grape varieties from this lesser-known part of the island.
The vineyards are planted with indigenous varieties such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Nocera, grown on steep, terraced slopes overlooking the sea. The unique combination of altitude, maritime influence and volcanic soils contributes to wines of remarkable elegance and complexity.
Palari wines are known for their finesse and balance rather than power. They display aromas of red berries, herbs, spice and mineral notes, with refined tannins and fresh acidity. Often compared to more delicate styles, the wines offer a distinctive and expressive interpretation of Sicilian terroir.
