Two Hands Wines is a respected winery from the Barossa Valley in Australia, founded in 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz. From the beginning, the winery set out to showcase the quality and diversity of Australian Shiraz by sourcing fruit from some of the country’s most respected wine regions.
Two Hands is particularly known for its regional approach to Shiraz, producing wines from areas such as Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Eden Valley and Heathcote. This philosophy is reflected in the well-known “Garden Series”, where each wine represents the distinctive character of a specific wine region.
The wines of Two Hands combine richness with balance, often displaying aromas of ripe blackberries, plum and dark berries, supported by notes of spice, chocolate and subtle oak. Through careful vineyard management and ageing in French oak barrels, the wines achieve depth, structure and impressive ageing potential.
