Jonata is a prestigious winery located in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara County, California. The estate forms part of the Hilt Estate family and has become one of the most respected producers of Rhône- and Bordeaux-inspired wines in California.
The vineyards are planted on historic ranch land in the western Santa Ynez Valley, where cool Pacific influences, limestone-rich soils and significant diurnal temperature shifts create excellent conditions for varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Viognier.
Jonata wines are known for their depth, structure and complexity. Red wines often display aromas of blackberry, cassis and dark plum layered with notes of spice, cocoa, graphite and earthy nuances.
