Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most historic and respected wine houses in the Rhône Valley, founded in 1834. Based in Tain-l’Hermitage, the estate has played a key role in shaping the reputation of Northern Rhône wines.
The winery is particularly renowned for its wines from Hermitage, including the iconic La Chapelle, made from Syrah grown on steep granite slopes. The estate also produces wines from appellations such as Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, showcasing different expressions of Rhône terroir.
Paul Jaboulet wines are known for their structure, depth and ageing potential. They display aromas of dark fruit, black pepper, smoked meat and mineral notes. While powerful, the wines retain elegance and balance, making them benchmarks of Northern Rhône Syrah.
