The Debate is a Napa Valley project dedicated to showcasing the distinct character of some of the region’s most renowned vineyards, particularly those owned by Beckstoffer Vineyards. Rather than blending, the wines are produced as single-vineyard expressions, allowing each site to speak for itself.
The wines are based on Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from iconic vineyards such as To Kalon, Missouri Hopper and Dr. Crane. Each vineyard is vinified separately, highlighting differences in soil, microclimate and vine age, and resulting in wines with unique structure and personality.
The Debate wines are known for their precision, depth and complexity. Aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and cassis are layered with notes of graphite, cocoa and spice. The structure is powerful yet polished, with fine tannins and exceptional ageing potential, making these wines highly sought after by collectors.
