The Calera Pinot Noir Ryan 2011 is a refined wine from Central Coast’s Calera Wine Company, sourced from the Ryan vineyard. The 2011 vintage produced balanced grapes. It pours a ruby hue, with aromas of raspberry, cherry, and spice, plus earth and violets. The palate is medium-bodied, with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, offering red fruit and herbs. Aged 16 months in French oak, it’s highly rated. Pair with roasted duck or vegetarian risotto. A collector’s gem.
