The Ahrens Family’s Seventy 2020, from Swartland, is a Grenache-driven blend from old vines on granite soils. The 2020 vintage, warm and balanced, yielded rich grapes. Fermented in concrete and aged 10 months in old oak, it pours ruby with red cherry, raspberry, and spice aromas, plus earth and herbs. Medium-bodied, it offers silky tannins, fresh acidity (5.8 g/L), and vibrant fruit with a mineral finish. Sustainable practices ensure purity.
