Wine & Soul, founded by Sandra Tavares and Jorge Serôdio Borges, crafts the Quinta Da Manoella V.V. 2013 from century-old vines in the Douro’s Pinhão Valley. Blending Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and others on schist soils, this wine reflects the 2013 vintage’s balance. Fermented in lagares and aged 20 months in French oak (30% new), it pours deep ruby with blackberry, violet, and spice aromas, plus graphite and earth. Full-bodied, it offers silky tannins, fresh acidity (5.6 g/L), and concentrated fruit with a long, mineral finish. Sustainable practices ensure purity.
