Fine wine from Valdobbiadene Italy

Located in Northern Italy's Veneto region, Valdobbiadene is best known as the birthplace of the sparkling wine Prosecco. Located in the hills around the town of Valdobbiadene, the Glera grapes used to create Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene DOCG are some of the best in the world.

Wines like Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene DOCG go well with seafood because of its delicate bubbles, floral and fruity aromas, and well-balanced acidity. Compared to standard Prosecco, this one has a greater minimum alcohol concentration and a longer maturation time, therefore it's rightfully regarded premium.

Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Guia and Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza, both made from the Glera grape, are two of the most well-known wines produced in Valdobbiadene.

Additionally, Valdobbiadene makes additional wines, including the Glera-based sparkling wines Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Extra Dry and Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Dry.
