Babylonstoren’s Nebukadnesar 2018 Magnum, from South Africa’s Simonsberg-Paarl, blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz from 25-year-old vines on granite soils. The 2018 vintage, warm and balanced, yielded rich grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 18 months in French oak (40% new), it shows deep ruby with blackberry, cassis, and spice aromas, plus graphite and earth.
