Bodegas y Viñedos Alion’s Reserva 2019, from Ribera del Duero, is a Tempranillo from 25-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils. A Vega-Sicilia sister estate, Alion focuses on modern elegance. The 2019 vintage, warm and balanced, yielded rich grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 14 months in French oak (100% new), it pours deep ruby with blackberry, cassis, and vanilla aromas, plus graphite and spice. Full-bodied, it offers robust tannins, fresh acidity (5.6 g/L), and concentrated fruit with a smoky finish. Sustainable practices ensure quality. Ideal for steak or cheeses, it evolves through 2035. A modern Ribera classic.
