Weingut Grans-Fassian is a historic family winery located in Leiwen along the Mosel River in Germany. With roots dating back to the 17th century, the estate has become one of the most respected producers of high-quality Mosel Riesling.
The vineyards of Grans-Fassian are planted on some of the region’s most renowned steep slopes, including the celebrated Trittenheimer Apotheke vineyard. The soils consist mainly of blue and grey slate, giving the wines their distinctive minerality and elegance. Riesling forms the core of the estate’s production and is known for its vibrant acidity, aromatic complexity and excellent ageing potential.
Grans-Fassian wines combine finesse, precision and a clear expression of the Mosel terroir. Typical aromas include green apple, citrus and peach, accompanied by subtle mineral notes. Through careful vineyard management and traditional winemaking, the estate continues to produce classic and refined Mosel Rieslings.
