Weingut Ökonomierat Rebholz is a highly respected winery located in the Pfalz region of Germany, in the village of Siebeldingen near the edge of the Pfälzerwald. The family estate has a long tradition and is today run by Hansjörg Rebholz and his family. Rebholz is widely regarded as one of the leading producers of terroir-driven wines in Germany.
The vineyards are situated on some of the finest slopes of the southern Pfalz, with soils of limestone, sandstone and loess. These terroirs are particularly suited to varieties such as Riesling, Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). The wines are known for their precision, mineral character and elegant structure, showing aromas of citrus, white peach, apple and delicate spice.
Weingut Rebholz farms according to organic principles with a strong focus on natural vineyard balance. In the cellar, minimal intervention is used to preserve the purity of fruit and terroir expression. The wines are typically vinified dry and are appreciated for their clarity, finesse and excellent ageing potential.
