Dominio de Pingus, founded by Peter Sisseck in Ribera del Duero, crafts the Pingus 2020, a Tempranillo from old vines on clay-limestone soils. The 2020 vintage, warm and balanced, produced concentrated grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 20 months in French oak (50% new), it shows deep ruby with blackberry, plum, and spice aromas, plus graphite and earth. Full-bodied, it offers robust tannins, vibrant acidity (5.6 g/L), and rich fruit with a mineral finish. Biodynamic practices ensure purity. Ideal for steak or game, it evolves through 2040.
