Finca Almansa is a wine producer located in the DO Almansa region in southeastern Spain, an area known for its high-altitude vineyards and continental climate. The region’s dry conditions and significant temperature differences between day and night contribute to wines with concentration, structure and freshness.
The vineyards are primarily planted with native Spanish varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet) and Monastrell, alongside international grapes like Syrah and Tempranillo. The limestone and sandy soils provide excellent drainage, resulting in low yields and intensely flavored grapes.
Wines from Finca Almansa are typically rich and fruit-driven, showing notes of blackberry, plum and dark cherry, often complemented by hints of spice and Mediterranean herbs. Despite their power, the wines maintain a pleasant freshness, making them both approachable and versatile.
