The Ahrens Family’s Koffieklip 2020, from Swartland, blends Syrah and Cinsaut from granite soils. Crafted by Donsie Ahrens, it reflects the balanced 2020 vintage. Fermented in open tanks and aged 12 months in old oak, it shows ruby with red plum, cherry, and spice aromas, plus earth and minerality. Medium-bodied, it offers soft tannins, vibrant acidity (5.7 g/L), and bright fruit with a clean finish. Sustainable practices ensure authenticity. Ideal for grilled meats or cheeses, it evolves through 2028. A vibrant Swartland red.
