Product description
Rottlan Torra’s Tirant 2001, from Spain’s Priorat, blends Grenache, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon from old vines on slate soils. The 2001 vintage, warm and dry, yielded intense grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 18 months in French oak, it pours deep garnet with blackberry, licorice, and mineral aromas, plus spice and earth. Full-bodied, it offers firm tannins, balanced acidity (5.5 g/L), and concentrated fruit with a smoky finish. Sustainable practices ensure quality. Ideal for lamb or cheeses, it’s at its peak but holds through 2025. A bold Priorat classic.
