Château Montrose is a Second Growth estate in Saint‑Estèphe known for producing some of the appellation’s most powerful wines. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the blend, giving the wine structure, blackcurrant fruit and a distinctive iron‑like minerality typical of Saint‑Estèphe. Montrose wines can be formidable in youth but develop extraordinary complexity with age, revealing notes of tobacco, leather and graphite.
