Ca’ di Rajo is a family-owned winery located in the Veneto region of northern Italy, near the historic city of Treviso. Founded by the Cecchetto family, the estate has become known as a dynamic producer of modern Prosecco and other wines that reflect the heritage of the Veneto wine tradition. The name Ca’ di Rajo originates from an ancient local designation connected to the landscape surrounding the estate.
The vineyards stretch along the banks of the Piave River, an area historically known for its fertile alluvial soils and favorable microclimate. Here the winery cultivates primarily Glera, the grape responsible for Prosecco, along with varieties such as Raboso, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. A distinctive feature of the estate is the preservation of the historic Bellussera training system, a traditional vineyard method in which vines grow high and spread in a star-like formation.
The wines of Ca’ di Rajo emphasize freshness and regional character. Their Prosecco wines display lively aromas of green apple, pear and citrus, complemented by delicate floral notes and a fine mousse. The estate also produces more structured red wines from Raboso, a historic local grape known for its deep color, firm structure and ageing potential.
With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and respect for tradition, Ca’ di Rajo represents the modern evolution of Veneto’s winemaking culture.
