Cellar Cal Pla’s Mas d’en Compte Tinto 2005, from Priorat, blends Grenache and Carignan from old vines on llicorella slate soils. The 2005 vintage, warm and balanced, produced rich grapes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 16 months in French oak, it shows deep ruby with blackberry, plum, and mineral aromas, plus spice and herbs. Full-bodied, it offers firm tannins, fresh acidity (5.6 g/L), and concentrated fruit with a long, stony finish. Organic practices ensure authenticity. Ideal for game or cheeses, it evolves through 2027. A Priorat gem.
